5th grade Orchestra at Anne Frank, Junkins, Kramer start on the week of October 14th.

5th grade Orchestra at Bush start on the week of October 21st.

4th grade Orchestra at Anne Frank, Junkins, Kramer, Bush start on the week of October 21st.

For new orchestra students-

Your name will be on the pull-out roster once you signed up, and Mrs. Ufford will notify your specials teacher and homeroom teacher when you need to come to orchestra. Since there are limited numbers of instruments available, you student will first receive 2~3 weeks of instructions, the teacher will then recommend a list of students to the school for official registration.

Orchestra class acts as a pull out from your students' specials rotation, it will be during school hours during your students' specials period.

Anne Frank- Monday, Wednesday

Junkins- Tuesday, Thursday

Kramer- Thursday, Friday

Bush- Monday-Friday

As soon as 4th grade roster is sent to the office, 4th and 5th graders will be assigned an instrument that they can take home to pracitce.

Currently, Mrs. Ufford is working on puchasing shared orchestra materials through the school. However, if you would like to purchase your personal rosin, shoulder bar, etc. to keep, please contact Mrs. Ufford for a supply list.

New students- Please DO NOT turn in your fee at this moment. We will collect fees after you have officially registered for orchestra.

Old students (5th graders at Anne Frank, Kramer, Junkins)- Please turn your money in to Mrs. Ufford when you come to orchestra class.

The $25 instrument usage fee covers students' school instrument rental for the 2019-2020 school year. It will help cover minor instrument repairs and books. However, if there is a major damange to the school instrument, parents may be asked to pay for part of the repair fee.
